I believe in solving problems with interactive, human-centered designs. I’m driven when creating products and experiences that enhance lives and build connections.
From a small town girl to the world.
My name is Huỳnh Ngọc Trúc Vy, but don’t worry, I also go by Chloe :).
I'm a UIUX Designer with a background in Psychology from University of Houston. I was born in a very small town in Vietnam called Thốt Nốt and came to Houston with my family when I was 11.
My interest in UX design was fueled by a life-long desire to create, to understand, connect, and empower people. Through human-centered designs, I feel like I can make that happen.
Understanding the human experience is essential for creating useful and impactful products. I’m passionate about creating products and digital experiences that can simplify and enhance people’s lives.
I am hopeful that I will get to connect + collaborate with many talents and companies to create a digital world we are proud of.
More about me:
At 21, I started a business called Lash Art. I used UX methods even before I knew what UX was. I learned how to conduct consumer research, competitive analysis, brainstorm ideas, define brand personality, sketching salon designs, building our first website, designing business cards and other marketing materials. I started with a smaller location to test the market (prototype) and used what I learned to build the bigger location (iteration). I loved every part of the process. That was when I realized that I want to spend my life turning ideas into reality.
In middle school, I received my first computer and discovered my love for interface design. My first “product” was a Myspace layout, which totally impressed my friends!
